According to Beckman, the unusual statement she made distanced herself from the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epsteinaccomplished three goals. “She exposed all the lies surrounding her and Epstein. The first lady’s senior adviser further noted that Melania will continue to confront those spreading rumors about her relationship with Epstein. “This person has no reason to stop fighting for her dignity. She has done nothing wrong. She has no connection at all to the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein, and she will continue to fight because her reputation is impeccable.”

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump told MS Now reporter Jacqueline Alemany that he was unaware of the statement his wife made before speaking. He insists Melania didn’t know Epstein. However, a source familiar with the matter told CNN trump card Do know Melania’s intention to make a statement.

“My email responses to Maxwell can only be classified as casual correspondence,” she said. “My polite reply to her email was nothing more than a trivial note.”
