New Delhi: Arjun Tendulkar’s wife Saania Chandhok and sister Sara Tendulkar There were people cheering for the home team at the Ekana Stadium during the IPL 2026 match between Lucknow Supergiants and Gujarat Titans. Arjun is the son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and is part of the Lucknow Supergiants team participating in IPL 2026.A day before the LSG vs GT match, Sara was seen arriving in the city along with her sister-in-law Saania. Arjun married Saania on March 5, 2026 in a grand ceremony in Mumbai.Sara and Sania were spotted at the airport by media persons, photographers and fans. When asked which team she would support, Sara chose to remain tight-lipped and, despite repeated requests, just smiled in reply. On the field, Gujarat Titans won the toss and elected to bowl first. Arjun was bought by LSG for Rs 30 lakh in the IPL 2026 auction, but he was not included in the match squad.GT captain Shubman Gill said after the win: “We will bat first. Two runs in the last over gave us enough confidence. Hopefully play better cricket and ensure that the game does not go into the final over. We had a good time and in a long-term tournament like the IPL, consistency is very important. After 14 games, the most consistent team will win the game. We are the same team today.”Meanwhile, LSG captain Rishabh Pant also traveled with the same team. “I think the way the wickets are now, you know, there’s not a lot of advantage to bat first or bowl first, but you know, we got a bowl first. I think that’s great for us. You know, every win is important, especially when you win like this, it shows the character of a team, you know. But we want to keep going and, you know, take it one game at a time and do our best,” Pant said. “(Talk about head-to-head) Look, it’s definitely a huge boost to win one game and get to the next one. But at the same time, you know, you still have to give your best in every game because the wickets may play out differently, the conditions may be different. But at the same time, the last game we played, we talked about intention on the field. We always talk about that as a team and it’s good to see that when we’re on the field, we put our bodies on the line. We’re playing with the same team,” he said.
