The war between the U.S.-Israeli allies and Iran escalated after the U.S. launched a large-scale air and missile attack on Iranian territory on February 28. Iran has responded with a series of missile and drone strikes against U.S. bases and allied positions in the Gulf, including attacks reportedly near Gulf states and inside Israel, raising fears of war in the wider region.
