A conservative activist claims there are “hundreds if not thousands” of trucking companies registered under “undisclosed” names in the United States.She said the situation was related to immigrants, particularly those from the Punjabi community, who did not provide their full names to U.S. authorities. This results in entries like “No Name Give Ankur”, “No Name Give Anjali” or “No Name Give Anil”.“The claim was made by MAGA activist Savanah Hernandez in an audio shared on X, in which she described a review of USDOT corporate census files, which contained more than 2 million entries.“These are registered freight companies, here are their contact names,” the first speaker in the audio says.The exchange continued with the second person confirming the scope of the claim.“Everyone is a trucking company in America,” said the second speaker.“Yes, on the U.S. Department of Transportation records, there was a principal official. It was the guy who owned the trucking company and was in charge of the paperwork, one of the two. That’s where all these names came from. So I pulled the list from it, which is a file from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s corporate census file, which at two points was about a million lines. So I pulled everything that included no first name, first name unknown, last name unknown. There were a lot of them, and there were no names, and I searched in the company files, and only the trucking companies had this information.“In the recording, a second speaker clarified the practical impact of these registrations.“I want to clarify again that these are the primary contacts in the United States for these companies. These are individuals who own active trucking companies.”“Yes,” the first speaker replied, agreeing.The audio concludes by suggesting that companies registered in this way are able to operate heavy trucks on U.S. highways, which could pose a danger to U.S. citizens.“And may actively own an 18-wheeler or semi-trailer on an interstate highway in the United States,” it said.Hernandez’s post said the problem stems from years of neglect by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). She said the problem stems from immigrants crossing illegally not providing their full names to Border Patrol, which results in “unnamed” entries on official documents.
