“At about 11:59 we finally had the fireworks extravaganza. Unfortunately, there were storms earlier in the evening and it was difficult to see much of the show across the river. At least the temperature was 30 degrees cooler. Right at the end of the 38-minute show, the thunderstorm started. What a time!” one user wrote.
