An explosion occurred in the building shortly before 3 p.m., causing people within a 2-mile radius of the explosion to shelter in place. explodeaccording to Gloucester County Emergency Management. The shelter-in-place area includes a two-mile area around Heron Drive and High Hill Road.
A doorbell camera at a nearby house captured video of the moment the Heron Drive building exploded. The news was later shared on social media.

The town of Logan is located in Gloucester County in southern New Jersey, about 20 miles south of Philadelphia and near the Delaware border.
Logan Township residents describe explosion
Many Logan Township residents described the moment the building exploded on Herron Avenue. They commented on Facebook to Gloucester County Emergency Management and described how obviously concerned it made them feel.
“Heard doors shaking and houses rumbling in Barrington. Thought it was a train passing by but there was no train horn,” local Amy Fluharty commented.
Gabrielle Marie wrote: “I felt it in Clayton and thought someone had closed the back door.”
Another netizen wrote: “The place where I work is very close to the explosion site. It is only a few buildings at most. The explosion is everywhere on the ceiling.”
