She was responding to a post from conservative influencer Jack Posobiec on X (formerly Twitter) cheering for Vance’s win. “Vance received 53% of the vote in the CPAC straw poll,” Posobiec wrote.

Loomer wrote in response that “about 10 people attended CPAC.”

Loomer’s comments were not the first time the firebrand has disagreed with the vice president. In January 2026, she reportedly lashed out at Vance for speaking at an anti-abortion rally, saying his comments would cost the party in the midterm elections.

Laura Loomer VS JD Vance: Lines Explained

At the time, Vance lashed out at Loomer, saying “Debates are inevitable in this movement. I think these are good, honest, natural debates. And frankly, they’re not just good for all of you — they help keep people like me honest.” By then, Vance’s feud with Loomer had spread to X.

“Didn’t they learn their lesson in 2018?” Loomer wrote. Vance, meanwhile, countered, “It’s interesting that some ‘conservative influencers’ spend all their time attacking the administration and fomenting division. In fact, that’s shameful.”

Later, speaking of her internal strife with Vance, Loomer Tell “It’s ridiculous that the Vice President, who is friends with Tucker Carlson and whose son works in his office in the White House, would single me out of all people to call for so-called division, while he has yet to condemn people like Tucker Carlson, Nick Fuentes or Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Greene.”

Part of Loomer’s dissatisfaction with Vance appears to stem from his association with former Fox News host Carlson, with whom Loomer frequently feuded.

Today is number X, she wrote “2028 The 2020 nominee should be able to say: ‘I condemn Tucker Carlson and all claims that President Trump is controlled by Israel. Tucker’s vitriolic and isolationist rhetoric has no place in the Republican Party, whose majority base is made up of evangelical Christians, and no one should be accused if they are not Christians. Know that they are not Americans. Jewish Americans are allies like other Americans, Christians, Jews and Hindus, the Holocaust is not a conspiracy theory, Taylor Robinson killed Charlie Kirk, Hamas is a terrorist organization, we have 100 million foreigners in the United States who need to be deported, Islam is incompatible with the U.S. Constitution, and we will never share power with the Chinese Communist Party.”

“Just say it. It should be easy. It should be a given. I want to hear every 2028 Republican presidential candidate say this. If you can’t say these words and you’re running for president, we have a big problem,” she added.

Needless to say, Loomer has not fully endorsed Vance, who many expect to run for president after Trump’s term ends in 2028. “I don’t know who I’m going to support in 2028. I have to win the vote,” she told Politico.

Loomer’s latest criticism of Vance also comes as he negotiates with Iran to try to end the war. Vance has been vocally anti-war but has had to adjust his stance to offer support to President Donald Trump, who joined Israel in an attack on Tehran that killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and plunged the three countries into war.
