Comments Off on ‘Keep the oil, make the money’: Trump says ‘Americans won’t understand’ his Iran moves

President of the United States Donald Trump On Monday, he said that if he had a choice, he would enter Iran and take over the oil industry. Speaking to reporters at the White House Easter Egg Roll, the US president responded to a question about Make America Great Again’s support for the war, saying that while Republicans did support his move to go to war with Iran, they wanted to see us come home.

After saying “Great Again” and “loving what he’s doing”, the US president said that while he had support, Republicans wanted to see the war end and come back again

“But remember, last year’s war, we were there for 34 days and we destroyed a very powerful country. If it were up to me, I would want to keep the oil. But I don’t think the American people will understand,” he said.

He added that he wanted to take the oil, keep it and make a lot of money.

In a separate statement to reporters, Trump added that it would take Iran another 15 years to rebuild.

“We could leave now and it will take them 15 years to rebuild what they have… but I want to get it done. Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. They are madmen – you cannot put nuclear weapons in the hands of madmen,” he told the media.

Donald Trump is also scheduled to hold a press conference in the Oval Office today at 1 pm ET. While details of the press conference have not yet been revealed, it is likely to be about the ongoing war with Iran and the recent rescue of two pilots after Tehran shot down a U.S. F-15 fighter jet last week.

Trump’s Iran deadline filled with expletives

In another warning to Iran, Trump called on Tehran to open the Strait of Hormuz or the United States would ensure that “hell will befall them” in the country.

“Tuesday will be Iran’s Power Plant Day and Bridge Day, and it’s all going to be in Iran. There’s nothing like it!!! Open the F***n’ Straits, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in hell – look! Praise be to Allah,” Trump said on Truth Social.

After issuing the explicit threat on Easter Sunday, Trump told reporters on Monday that 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday was the deadline for Iran.
