One person was killed and another injured in a fatal shooting in Kapolei, Honolulu on Friday. The Honolulu Police Department is investigating. It is reported that the incident occurred at around 11:30 am.

“The investigation into the murder in Kapolepuanohu Plaza is ongoing. A suspect is in custody. The investigation is ongoing, please avoid the area,” they said in a statement.
Hawaii News Now reports that a man in his 20s was found dead at the scene on Puanohu Place. A girl was injured and was taken to hospital for treatment.
