It was posted by a WWE fan page. Another post like this claim “The news of Jim Ross’ death at the age of 74 has shocked the wrestling world. Ross created an unforgettable legacy with his unmistakable voice providing iconic moments. His contribution to wrestling is immeasurable, and fans around the world are paying tribute to a true legend. We honor his memory and offer our sincerest condolences to those closest to him. Rest in peace, a legend.”

Although the claims were widely circulated on social media, Ross appeared to remain active. Many netizens pointed out in the comment area that these claims are all “scams.”
