‘Brown kid’ comment made out of love: Michigan Democrat El-Sayed calls J.D. Vance ‘very evil’

Michigan Democrat El-Sayed clarifies his “brown kid” comments about J.D. Vance’s children and says they were made out of love.

Dr. Abdul-Sayed, a Michigan Democrat who is running for a Senate seat, reacts to the outcry over his comments targeting the Vice President JD VanceVance’s children are called “brown kids,” and says it’s done out of love because he wants J.D. Vance’s children and all other immigrant children, including his own, to feel like they are Americans. But he said that J.D. Vance is a bad person, extremely evil, and he has a deep hatred for him, but not for his children.“Can you imagine, he has brown kids, and at some point, he’s going to have a really awkward conversation with his kids, like, you’re making your career hating different people,” El-Sayed said on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”“He has to look at his kids and say, ‘Yeah, those are Brown kids, they’re mine,'” El-Sayed said. “I love my brown kids and I think my brown kids are just as American as everyone else,” Syed said. “J.D. Vance had some brown kids and he thought they were less American than everyone else.”El-Sayed doubled down on the same criticism in a recent podcast, saying Vance used morality to make an unethical argument. Questioning what the vice president truly believes, El-Sayed said he uses all means to advance his own interests.“I do think we need to find a way to get back to the core of our politics and help us peacefully resolve the divisions in our country,” El-Sayed said. “However, I do think it’s really important to call out hypocrisy when we see it. You know, there’s a deep hypocrisy in wanting to build an America where your kin are different than everyone else and then not really talk about it.”“So at least for me, when I think about my kids, I want a linear America where his kids, my kids, all of our kids can live in that kind of America without being told that they’re less than others and not worthy. I just make the point about his kids out of love because I want them to believe that they’re just as American as everyone else,” he said.
