Jesse said, “This choice was not made lightly” And added that no matter what decision they make, they are grateful for their fans’ support.He also spoke his mind when he first heard the news. Jesse said, “When I first saw the news, I was shocked but optimistic.” He admits that at first he didn’t fully understand what Down syndrome meant. Later, after learning more, he realized the medical challenges could be severe for children and families.He listed several health problems associated with Down syndrome, including heart problems, hearing and vision problems, learning delays and weak immune function. He also said many children with the disease may need full-time care throughout their lives. Jesse explained that these factors made their situation even more difficult to face.The YouTuber also expressed concerns about risks during pregnancy, saying Ashley could potentially miscarry and face health risks. For all these reasons, the couple decided to move forward with difficult medical choices.Jesse added that while some may be upset or disappointed with their decision, they feel it is the right thing for their family. “Fortunately, we still have options.” he wrote, reflecting on how complicated and painful the experience was.He concluded his message by saying their emotions needed time to heal.
