Floating wallet found near club
Police said Thursday that Gracie’s wallet was found floating in the sea near Somorrostro Beach, not far from the Shoko nightclub where he was last seen. Catalan police found the wallet in the water on Wednesday to check whether he had gone into the sea after leaving the club. Investigators also found Gracie’s cellphone during the investigation. Family spokesperson Noreen Heron said the phone was found when police arrested another person.
However, Gracie’s aunt Beth O’Reilly said it’s unclear what happened to it.
“We don’t know if it was lost, stolen, etc.,” she told NewsNation. “Other than that, we don’t have much additional information at this time.”
