Jaggi murder case: SC upholds HC verdict, life imprisonment for former Chhattisgarh CM Ajit Jogi’s son

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday stayed a Chhattisgarh High Court order that sentenced Amit Jogi to life imprisonment in the 2003 Ramafta Jaggi murder case.The case dates back more than two decades and involves the June 2003 shooting death of Judge. Former chief minister Ajit Jogi’s son Jogi was acquitted by a special court in 2007 due to lack of evidence.
