Singer Oliver Tree, known for songs such as “Life Goes On,” dies in helicopter crash rio de janeiroBrazil, 32 years old. The incident took place on June 14, and since then there have been wild claims on social media that the late entertainer was a Zionist.

“Have we forgotten that Oliver Terry was a Zionist who also had a million sexual assault charges against him,” one wrote About X.another additional “Unfollow me if you are saddened by the death of Oliver Tree, a Zionist who dated Melanie Martinez, made horrific music, and had rape accusations.” Another explain “Isn’t Oliver Tree a Zionist? Or have we all forgotten that?”.

Notably, Zionists believe in a political and ideological movement that advocates self-determination and the establishment of an independent, sovereign Jewish state in the ancestral homeland (the land equivalent of Israel or Palestine). The charges against Terry follow Israel’s offensive against the Palestinians. Hamas attack on October 7 2023. Since then, fighting has continued in the area.

However, claims that Oliver Tree was a Zionist come from unconfirmed sources, and no one has provided any evidence to support these accusations. Here’s everything you need to know about whether late singer Oliver Terry was a Zionist.

Is Oliver Tree a Zionist? Fact-checking crazy claims

Although these claims were amplified on social media, there is no evidence that Oliver Terry was a Zionist. The claims appear to stem from Tree’s appearance on Ethan Klein’s H3 podcast.

At the same time, some people voiced support explain “Why is everyone bashing Oliver Tree. There is no evidence whatsoever that he was a Zionist other than the fact that the record label owners he left behind were Zionists. The only real controversy I know of is the Belle Delfin controversy.” This guy was talking about Atlantic Records. In April 2026, Tree split after they shelved his latest album Love You Madly, Hate You Badly. The dispute reportedly centered around the singer’s refusal to produce short film content.

Atlantic Records is part of Warner Music Group (WMG), which is owned by Len Blavatnik, who is reportedly pro-Israel and supports their cause. The CEO is Elliot Grainge, who has expressed his stance on Israel to Variety.

“Israel has the right to exist… We are all on a spinning ball in the universe and have the right to feel comfortable wherever we are,” the publication report Grange said.

Therefore, despite claims, Oliver Terry does not appear to be a Zionist and appears to have fallen out with pro-Israel supporters. Recently, there have been rumors about him fake deathbut these have also been proven to be untrue.
