Iranian missile fragments in Abu Dhabi injure 12, 5 of them Indians

At least 12 people, including five Indian citizens, were injured on Friday when falling debris fell to the ground after an interception attack in Abu Dhabi, according to the government media office. The incident occurred in the Ajiban area, where residents were injured by shrapnel intercepted by Iranian missiles. The Abu Dhabi Media Office said in a post onChurches in the UAE have also announced that they will be closed on Easter Sunday in line with government orders as clashes continue. The latest developments came after the Revolutionary Guards issued a warning on its affiliated Telegram channel, declaring that 18 US technology companies were “legitimate targets” for their alleged involvement in US and Israeli attacks on Iranian territory.“From now on, for every assassination, an American company will be destroyed,” the post read. The Guard also said the attack would begin at 8pm Tehran time on Wednesday and warned employees at these companies to evacuate their workplaces immediately to protect lives. The growing threat has heightened concerns about the security of the Gulf’s energy infrastructure and the Strait of Hormuz, through which one-fifth of the world’s oil and gas passes in peacetime.
