Mumbai: BCCI will announce venue intense pulsed light The 2026 playoffs begin in just a few days. “We are looking at suitable venues for the IPL playoffs and finals. So, we will take another two days,” BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia told reporters at the BCCI headquarters on Saturday, just after the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup squad was announced. The BCCI secretary refused to reveal whether designated venues Mullanpur and Bengaluru will host the playoffs as Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab were last year’s finalists and champions. “You can continue to speculate, but I’m not going to give you an answer. We’ll get a call in two days,” he said. Mullanpur hosted the qualifiers 1 and knockout matches, while the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad (which, by convention, would have been held at Eden Gardens in Kolkata) hosted the qualifiers 2 and finals after the season was paused for a while last year due to the Indo-Pak war. The BCCI is yet to announce the dates for the IPL 2026 playoffs and has only announced that the final will be held on May 31.
