Indian man Anshul Kuncha Philadelphia murder: 14-year-old boy arrested and charged
A 14-year-old boy, Sincere Camps, has been arrested and charged with murder after Anshul Kuncha, an Indian man who went to deliver pizza, was shot and killed in Philadelphia. The incident occurred on June 5 when Kuncha was lured to a vacant apartment to deliver three pizzas. Surveillance video showed that when Kuncha arrived at the scene to deliver food, two people wearing dark clothes followed Kuncha and got out of the car after Kuncha arrived at the location.Three pizza boxes and a bag were found inside the vacant home, police said. Investigators said the food did not appear to have been opened or touched.After Kuncha complied with the order, he was shot and killed outside. When police arrived at the scene, Kuncha was still alive but unresponsive. He was pronounced dead when he was taken to a nearby hospital.Following the investigation, police arrested Sincere Camps, a 14-year-old boy from Philadelphia, on Friday, July 10, 2026. He has been charged with murder, robbery, violent crime and related offenses.Many questions remain unanswered, such as who Campos and Campos’ other person were seen in the surveillance video, who placed the pizza order, whether anyone was in the vacant apartment and more. Police said the motive for the murder was robbery, but initially they said Kuncha’s property was not stolen.Anshul’s family in India said he went to the United States for higher education, completed a master’s degree in business analytics from Drexel University and worked full-time for a multinational company. On the weekends, he often worked part-time at a pizza shop.
