Tulsi Gabbard She resigned as director of national intelligence after her husband, Abraham Williams, was diagnosed with bone cancer. Her last day in the role is expected to be June 30, 2026. She announced her decision to resign at a meeting at the White House.

“Tulsi is a lifelong Hindu. But no one seems to know that. She should embrace that. This screenshot is from Tulsi Gabbard’s own YouTube channel,” Loomer continued, sharing a screenshot of a Hindu ceremony from Gabbard’s wedding.

Sridhar Vembu criticizes Laura Loomer:

“Laura Loomer doesn’t seem to know this, but as a Hindu, the entire universe, all of it, is sacred. It’s perfectly okay to go to church and pray to Jesus, and I’ve done so myself on many occasions. I quote the Bible often, and my favorite scripture is Matthew 25:40, where Jesus says, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, just as you did to the least of these my brothers.'” This is the call to service,” he wrote.

The Indian billionaire continued, “For me, as a Hindu, it is a sin to call something that others consider sacred a ‘demon,’ and unfortunately, a Christian priest recently did that to a Hindu deity.”

He added: “This is why Sanatana Dharma is the most tolerant spiritual system in the world. If we all have to live in harmony, the world needs to understand the eternal Dharma.”

Tulsi Gabbard’s resignation letter:

“I am deeply grateful for President Trump’s confidence in me and the opportunity to lead @ODNIgov over the past year and a half. Unfortunately, I must submit my resignation, effective June 30, 2026. My husband, Abraham, was recently diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer. He will face significant challenges in the weeks and months ahead. At this time, I must retire from public service to stand by his side and fully support him through this battle,” Gabbard wrote on Twitter in May. twenty two.

Dear Mr. President,

I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me and for the opportunity to lead the Office of the Director of National Intelligence over the past year and a half.

Unfortunately, I must submit my resignation, effective June 30, 2026. My husband, Abraham, was recently diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer. He faces significant challenges in the coming weeks and months. At this time, I must retire from public office, stand by his side, and fully support him through this battle.

Abraham has been an unwavering rock in our marriage for eleven years, through my deployments to East Africa on joint special operations missions, multiple political campaigns, and now in this role. His strength and love sustain me through every challenge. I cannot in good conscience ask him to face this battle alone while I continue in this demanding and time-consuming position.

While we have made significant progress in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence—increasing unprecedented transparency and restoring integrity to the Intelligence Community—I recognize there is still important work to be done. I am fully committed to ensuring a smooth and complete transition in the coming weeks so that you and your team’s leadership or momentum is not disrupted.

Thank you for your understanding during this very personal and difficult time for our family. I will forever be grateful to you and the American people for the great honor of serving our country as Director of National Intelligence.

With love and aloha

Tulsi Gabbard
