Numarigarh RefineryEnergy Minister Iqbal Hassan Mahmood Tuku told parliament on Monday that fuel hoarding – rather than supply shortages during the crisis in West Asia – was the greater concern.Fuel began arriving via the India-Bangladesh Friendship Pipeline on Saturday evening and full delivery is expected on Tuesday. Previously, 15,000 tons had been shipped through pipelines following the shipment of 5,000 tons on March 25 to meet the needs of Bangladesh, which relies heavily on Gulf imports.Officials said Bangladesh Petroleum Corp. is prioritizing pipeline imports along the coastal route, where supplies are stable.
