India replaces BLS and SGIVS to provide passport and visa services in the UAE; Al Hind will be responsible for operations from July 1

The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi has announced that a new outsourced service provider will take over passport, visa and consular services for Indian nationals and other applicants across the UAE from July 1, 2026.According to the embassy, ​​Al Hind Tours and Travels LLC has been selected to manage the services following a tender and evaluation process.Current providers BLS International Services Limited and SGIVS Global will continue to accept and process applications until 30 June 2026. Applications submitted before the transition date will continue to be processed through existing centres.From July 1, all applications for passports, visas and consular services will be processed through designated centers operated by Al Hind Tours and Travels.The Embassy recommends that applicants continue to use BLS International and SGIVS Global centers for services until the end of June and follow official announcements regarding the transition process.In a statement, the embassy urged members of the Indian community and other applicants to rely only on official websites and verified social media channels for information related to passport, visa and consular services.The embassy said it is working with relevant authorities and service providers to ensure a smooth transition while maintaining efficient and accessible services across the UAE.
