Dhaka: India on Sunday told the new government of Bangladesh that it hopes to strengthen people-centered cooperation in various fields in a positive, constructive and forward-looking manner on the basis of mutual benefit and win-win results.The two sides agreed to maintain regular contacts to further strengthen bilateral relations – which reached their lowest point during the 18-month tenure of the interim government led by Muhammad Yunus.Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Verma conveyed Delhi’s message to External Affairs Minister Khalil Rehman and External Affairs Minister Shama Obaid. Speaking to reporters, Verma said they look forward to forward-looking cooperation with Bangladesh.
