Amid rising tensions over Iran conflict, U.S. President Donald Trump He said Thursday he might skip his eldest son Donald Trump Jr.’s wedding, joking that he would be “killed” whether he attended or not.Trump told reporters during an Oval Office interaction that he would try to attend the wedding, but said the current situation with Iran and possible media scrutiny made the timing difficult.“He wants me to go… This is not a good time for me. I have this thing called Iran… If I go, I’m going to be killed. If I don’t go, I’m going to be killed. Through fake news, of course,” Trump said.The comments come amid reports that Donald Trump Jr., 48, will marry Palm Beach socialite and model Bettina Anderson in a private ceremony in the Bahamas this weekend. The couple reportedly got engaged at Camp David, the presidential resort in Maryland. Anderson later hosted a bridal shower at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach.The upcoming ceremony will mark Trump Jr.’s second marriage. He was previously married to Vanessa Trump, with whom he had five children, before they divorced in 2018. Vanessa Trump recently revealed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.Trump Jr. was previously engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle, the current U.S. ambassador to Greece, but the relationship ended in 2024.
