I would happily buy the best 55-inch smart 4K TV under Rs 35,000

TVs are easier to use than ever these days, and in fact I’ve been looking for a good 55-inch TV to replace my aging Samsung TV for the past decade. Luckily, you don’t need to spend a lot of money to get a good 55-inch smart TV. You can definitely find good models below $40,000 or even less $35,000.

I’m personally looking for a TV with Google TV or Fire TV built-in to sort the navigation within the experience. I want the TV to work with my PlayStation 5 as well, so I’m looking for features like automatic low-latency mode and MEMC. If there’s a 120Hz refresh rate, that’s just an added bonus. I’m also looking for good image quality, hopefully a QLED as I like deep blacks.

Another nice thing I noticed about this TV is that it supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which comes in handy when I have a PlayStation 5 system connected. So if you are planning to connect a gaming console to this as well, maybe an Xbox Series X, Series S or PlayStation 5, then this will be very useful as you will be able to enjoy smooth visuals.

In addition to this, it also has ALLM, which is automatic low latency mode, and has MEMC. The overall sound configuration is also quite powerful, 50W. Plus, Motorola is a trustworthy brand and I think this will be a good choice for a lot of people, especially at just under $30,000.

Based on our current research, we’ve found that this TV is also rated very well, with a 4.3-star rating after around 16,000 reviews from verified buyers. Buyers appreciate the TV’s picture quality, sound, connectivity and value for money. Buyers said the installation could have been better.

The bezel size is also quite thin, so if you’re looking for a good-looking TV, this will suit it well.

This TV has a consistent four-star rating after more than 15,000 verified buyer reviews. People said that the image quality with deep blacks worked really well for them, and they also appreciated the build quality of the product. However, sometimes users say that the installation could have been better because the service installation partner was not the best.

Meanwhile, some negative news mentions glitches.

Haier is definitely a trustworthy brand in home appliances and TVs. If you factor in the bank discount, this particular model can be a deal, bringing the total price down to less than $35,000 after applying for card benefits and UPI discount. But even in its $Priced at $38,990, it’s certainly worth the money, offering Google TV, 4K UHD resolution, HDR10 support, MEMC, 20-watt speaker output, and more.

This isn’t the best for gaming, as the refresh rate is limited to 60Hz. But if you’re looking for a good brand experience and overall high-quality image output, this might be worth the investment. Buyers on Flipkart have given it a rating of 4.4 stars out of over 225 verified buyer ratings, with many praising the picture quality. However, some buyers noted that the image quality didn’t meet their expectations. Regardless, the television received generally good ratings.

The TV is available in two options: the 2024 model, which is approx. $It’s 2,000 cheaper, and it’s still the 2025 model we recommend. The 2025 model is equipped with 4K ultra-high-definition resolution, 55-inch size, supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, and has a refresh rate of 60Hz.

Being a Japanese brand, Toshiba makes products that are generally very reliable, which is evident from the consistent 4.3-star rating this TV received from verified buyers on Flipkart. Buyers say the TV’s picture quality is great and the sound is good. However, some noted that while the sound is loud, it’s not as soothing and may lack bass, while the mids are less pronounced.
