Police said Hughes also had a separate sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student.Authorities said the alleged relationship with the minor occurred on multiple occasions. Hughes was arrested and charged with five counts of child grooming in connection with that charge. Police have not announced any charges over what happened to the 18-year-old student.Hughes was taken into custody and transported to the Randolph County Jail, where he is being held on $25,000 cash bail.
