New Delhi: Ahead of the IPL 2026 clash between Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab, there were horrific scenes at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. A netballer was seriously injured when he was hit during practice the day before DC’s game against PBKS.According to a video that went viral on social media, the netballer was attended to by medical staff at the stadium. An ambulance was called to the ground and he was placed on a stretcher before being taken to hospital.The identity and further details of the netballer have not yet been confirmed and more information is awaited.Delhi Capitals are currently in the bottom half of the table at sixth place with three wins and three losses from six games. They will face a tough challenge against an ambitious Kings XI Punjab on Saturday.Meanwhile, Kings XI Punjab remain the only team to remain unbeaten in the competition so far, sitting at the top of the table with 11 points from six games. The only point they conceded came at the Eden Gardens against Kolkata Knight Riders.
