minister of defense Rajnath Singh Praise for Uttarakhand Chief Minister on Saturday Pushkar Singh DhamiFor his leadership qualities, he was called “Dhurandhar Dhami”.Addressing a public rally here on the occasion of the completion of the four-year term of the Uttarakhand government, the Defense Minister expressed pride and confidence in the Dhami-led government and attributed the development of the state to him. “The rally was organized to mark the end of Pushkar Dhami’s four-year term. During the elections, I had told him that the BJP would win under his leadership and the BJP had a clear majority. I had said in one of the meetings, ‘Our Dhami is extraordinary, he was Dhakad Dhami… Now, he should be called Durandal Dhami. Uttarakhand has achieved leadership in many areas across the country,” he said. Singh also recalled his tenure as chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, during which Uttarakhand was formed. “The land of Uttarakhand is the land of gods (Devbhoomi). I also served as the chief minister of Uttarakhand for 10-12 days. It was during my tenure as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh that Uttarakhand was created. Uttarakhand is a land of faith, spirituality, culture and saints; it is revered as a land of penance,” the defense minister said. Furthermore, the defense minister reflected on the ongoing tensions in West Asia and said the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi aimed to resolve the issue through “dialogue and diplomacy”.“Today, the entire world is going through a period of crisis. This is a matter of concern not only for India but for the whole world. Even today, our Prime Minister said that the solution to war is not through war itself, but through dialogue and diplomacy.” A solution to this global problem must be found through dialogue and diplomatic efforts,” he said. He further praised the Prime Minister’s efforts in dealing with potential energy or fertilizer crises, which he said could arise due to conflict. “Given the current global crisislike other countries, we may also face an energy or fertilizer crisis. However, through his immense wisdom and foresight, our Prime Minister has so far prevented India from slipping into this crisis. Our Prime Minister’s efforts to address this crisis globally should also be supported by Uttarakhand. ““Our Prime Minister has held India’s head high in the world with his charisma. Today, when India speaks on the international platform, the world listens with rapt attention,” he added.
