Sanju Samson begins T20 World Cup journey and wins title

“As an absolute lover of cricketer and batsman Sanju Samson, it would have been three centuries,” Ashwin said. “Not out on 97, I understand; I might as well be a strict South Indian dad. I mean, two games, man. Almost out on 90. He could easily take 10 singles and score a century.”However, Ashwin stressed that Samson’s refusal to slow down for personal milestones is what makes him special.“But this guy didn’t do that. He always played with intention. He left his milestones. That’s the endearing thing about Sanju,” he added. Also read: India team report card: A happy ending to a less-than-perfect T20 World Cup journeySamson played three decisive innings in India’s title match.
