BCCI will recognize five ICC title-winning Indian teams at annual awards ceremony

New Delhi: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will hold an annual awards ceremony (NAMAN) in New Delhi on March 15, which will recognize the historic achievements of various Indian teams that lifted the ICC trophy in the past year.Push boundaries with our YouTube channel. Subscribe now!BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia confirmed that the awards ceremony will celebrate India’s immense success across all formats and age groups, with players, coaches and support staff from several championship-winning teams being honored.

“The BCCI Awards Ceremony will be held in New Delhi on March 15. We will invite all ICC tournament winners, including recent T20 World Cup winners as well as coaches,” Saikia told IANS in an interview.The award ceremony will honor the winning team of the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, ICC Champions Trophy 2025, and a youth team that triumphs on the global stage. According to Saikia, the senior women’s team, men’s under-19 team and women’s under-19 team – all ICC trophies in 2025 – will also be part of the festivities.“In addition to the senior men’s team, the senior women’s team, the U19 men’s team and the U19 women’s team that won the trophy in 2025 will also be invited,” Saikia added.In total, members of five Indian teams that have lifted the ICC title in the past year will be honored at the awards night.“We will also be inviting the 2025 Champions Trophy winning team members. So, in the past one year, various Indian teams have won 5 ICC trophies – all the members of these teams will be honored on the awards night and it will be a great night,” Saikia said.According to reports, the venue is expected to be a five-star hotel close to the airport, considering that the men’s team players will soon join their respective teams ahead of the Indian Premier League season starting on March 28.
