GrannyGamingz: Valorant streamer GrannyGamingz reveals heartbreaking reasons behind return to streaming

GrannyGamingz has touched the hearts of many online after sharing her sad reason for returning to Valorant live streaming. The gaming grandmother said she started streaming again to raise funds for a tombstone for her late daughter Brooke, who died in 2023. Her emotional story quickly went viral when viewers learned that her daughter was the first person to encourage her to become a streamer. Many fans have since shown their support by watching her live streams and sharing her story on social media.GrannyGamingz has a small but loyal online community with over 3,000 YouTube subscribers and hundreds of videos. Most of her recent streams have been long Valorant sessions as she attempts to upgrade from Gold to Platinum. In a community post, she explained that Brooke believed she could be a successful streamer because “There’s no one like me.” Although she wasn’t sure at first, GrannyGamingz said she was surprised at how many people enjoyed watching her play and spend time with her online audience.

GrannyGamingz says her daughter inspired her to return to streaming Valorant

In her emotional message, GrannyGamingz shared details about Brooke’s health issues before her death. She said her daughter had serious health problems and received a second kidney transplant in October 2022. Brooke later developed lymphoma and died in July 2023 after facing multiple complications, the streamer reported.GrannyGamingz also claimed that the hospital that treated Brooke failed to detect the cancer early. She believes delays in treatment were the main cause of her daughter’s death, although these claims have not been independently confirmed.After losing Brooke, streamer says she never thought she’d play Valorant again because her daughter was hers “Game partner.” For a long time, she stayed away from live broadcasts and games because she felt deep sadness after losing her loved ones.However, she decided to return to live broadcasts in November 2025 and achieve an important goal. GrannyGamingz explained that every bit of money she makes from Twitch will be saved to pay for Brooke’s tombstone. She also said she hopes to find legal help by July 2026 so she can continue fighting for her daughter’s story to be heard.Her emotional journey has now touched many viewers, with fans supporting her live stream and her mission to honor Brooke.
