Grand Haven house fire: Is it a murder-suicide? Latest updates after 8 people found dead
Eight people were found dead inside a home in Grand Haven, Michigan, on Friday after a suspicious fire broke out.

Emergency crews responded to the fire in the 14900 block of Riverside Trail around 8:30 a.m., according to a news release from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, authorities found six children and two adults dead inside the residence.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Jacob Sparks later told MLive that some of the victims suffered gunshot wounds. Investigators are looking into the possibility of a murder-suicide, although Sparks stressed that is still just a theory and has not been confirmed.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the death and the cause of the fire.
