German millionaire heiress shot dead at luxury South Africa safari lodge, a day after close friend was murdered
Caroline von Rantzau, 26, the heir to million-dollar German shipping company DAL, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her family’s luxury safari lodge in South Africa’s northern Limpopo province, a day after her friend and the family’s finance manager was killed. Germany’s Bild newspaper reported that on June 1, gunshots were heard at the property and von Ranzo was found with a gunshot wound.Police believe von Lancao was shot. According to the outlet, her father, Dr. Eberhart von Rantzau, also had the 357-caliber shotgun in his gun cabinet.On May 31, Arno Koën, the financial manager of the family estate, was found dead inside the estate.
