Gangavalli election results 2026: AIADMK’s Nallathambi A defeats DMK’s Chinnadurai K

Artificial Intelligence ADMKNallathambi A emerged victorious, polling 73,167 votes, ahead of DMK’s Chinnadurai K by 14,404 votes.Gangavalli assembly constituency is located in Salem district tamil nadu and reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates. The constituency is part of the Kalakurich Lok Sabha constituency and usually sees contests from Dravidian parties, particularly the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), reflecting the wider political landscape across the region.In the 2016 Assembly elections, this constituency had a total of 2,18,854 voters and 1,75,981 valid votes. AIADMK candidate Maruthamuthu A won with 74,301 votes, defeating DMK candidate Rekha Priyadharshini J (72,039 votes).
