According to Sreesanth, the issue flared up again after Harbhajan allegedly appeared in an ad based on the slap controversy. This, he claimed, was deeply disturbing. As quoted by Mathrubhumi, he said: “I have never spoken about Bhajji in any interview. This will be the first time,” before adding, “Until recently, there had been no issues, but again he’s made an ad about it. He earned around Rs 80-10 million from it. But in the last month or two, he did that ad and now I’ve blocked him on Instagram,” he said, underscoring the severity of the consequences. While Sreesanth said he had forgiven Harbhajan for his past, he insisted he had not forgotten it. “My parents taught me to forgive but never forget. I have no complaints against him and I don’t need him. May God bless him and his family,” the former pacer added. However, he also questioned Harbhajan’s public image, saying: “He may be a great person. But for me, from playing for the Indian team to now, this is behavior. This behavior is not acceptable to Sreesanth.”
