Freehold Library Shooting: Adult man shot to death on Main Street in Freehold; first details

“An incident occurred on East Main Street today at approximately 4 p.m. and the Freehold Borough Police Department is on scene. No further information is available at this time. Please avoid the area if possible,” an update from the Freehold Borough read.

The incident occurred on East Main Street between South Street and Center Street, where an adult male was shot and killed.
