Charlie Kirk was killed on September 10, 2025 while attending an event at Utah Valley University. A profile from The Constitution Project says, “We’re told the story of a tragic loss and a movement of mourning. But digital receipts tell a different story—one of a woman who, rather than falling into catatonic depression, was ready for a refreshed wardrobe.”

The post adds, “According to a leak confirmed by an Alo Yoga insider, the purchase was made in the name of Erika Fransve (her maiden name) just hours after the world learned of Charlie Kirk’s assassination.” It claims this began on September 11, 2025.

The post continued: “Item: This isn’t a black dress for a funeral. This is a ‘yoga mom’ shopping spree. Activewear. Activewear. Overpriced gear with the ‘fat and ugly’ logo.” Ask yourself, if your husband—the man you live and play sports with—was publicly assassinated, would your first reaction be to go online and buy some exercise clothes? “.

However, the post was fact-checked by a TPUSA member who claimed to be the person who purchased Alo Yoga.

TPUSA Member Claims She Purchased Alo Yoga, Not Erika Kirk

TPUSA member Elizabeth McCoy claim She was the first person to purchase from Alo Yoga.

“I posted this on Instagram yesterday. Posting it here today so everyone can see how ridiculous this situation is. I was the one who purchased the Alo in person in Utah,” she wrote on the X.

The TPUSA member added: “When we got the call that Charlie had been shot, we rushed from the office to the plane. We arrived in Utah with nothing but the clothes we were wearing. We wore them all day at the hospital and slept in them that night. The next morning our friend Stacey handed me her business card and I went out and bought some supplies and toiletries for various team members and Erica. Arlo was just down the street.”

The post also read: “Additionally, if you look carefully at the video below, you will see that the photo from Erica’s account was taken on March 10th at 12:14 pm. A week before the video was posted. This is no coincidence. It is a clear sign that this was a planned, man-made attack. Accusing Erica or anyone else of going on a ‘shopping spree’ just hours after her husband was brutally murdered is cruel and vicious.”

Another TPUSA member joins and wrote “Scum. An Alo Yoga employee leaked a customer’s private purchase history to discredit her – items purchased immediately after one of the most horrific murders in American history, when there was no time to grab anything but the clothes off their backs.”

Member Alex Clark added, “Alo has refused to apologize and has now locked their Twitter account. You are a despicable company and this is predatory behavior. Alo needs to make a statement immediately – are you preying on conservative customers?”

Alo Yoga does protect its posts and they can no longer be viewed on the company’s X page. The company was founded by Danny Harris and Marco DeGeorge, who lives in Los Angeles. It has forged high-profile partnerships with celebrities including Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber.

Erica Kirk herself has yet to comment on the matter. At the same time, the “Project Constitution” shared On X, TPUSA sent them a legal “cease and desist” letter.
