Erika Kirk, widow of slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk Appointed to the U.S. Air Force Academy Board of Supervisors.

Board Chairman August Pfluger said in a statement that he supported the idea of appointing Erica months ago and praised Donald Trump’s decision.
“Erica is the right person to fill Charlie’s position on the Board of Trustees and continue his work of inspiring the next generation of service members and advancing the Academy,” Pfluger said. “I look forward to working with her and continuing Charlie’s legacy.”
Erica’s appointment comes nearly a year after President Trump first appointed her late husband to the board of directors in March 2025. Charlie Kirk attended the college’s first meeting on August 7, just weeks before he was assassinated on September 10 at Utah Valley University.
After his death, Erica took over leadership of Turning Point USA, the conservative organization he co-founded.
