Podcaster Barron Coleman shares text message from reporter claiming Erica Kirk Skipping the recent U.S. turning point Incident in Georgia after receiving “death threats.” Vice President J.D. Vance attended the event and spoke to a large crowd at Akinsford Stadium, not far from the University of Georgia campus.
The event is another tribute to the late TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk. According to Fox 5 Atlanta, Vance said that while Erica was originally planned to star, she had to skip due to “very serious threats.”
Coleman shared a text message he claimed was from the Athens reporter, which read: “Erica was supposed to interview Vance. Corvette came out and announced that Erica had received death threats so she didn’t come, implying it was because of Candace and people like you.”

The reporter is referring to Charlie Kirk spokesman Andrew Korfft.
The text adds, “It’s worth noting that JD’s Secret Service is right there, over the heads of countless state troopers, so probably the safest place to speak in America right now. Extremely fucking cringe-worthy and awkward. Corvette tried to milk it, but it didn’t land.”
It continued, “The place was empty, 1,200 people max. It’s crazy considering VPOTUS was there and it was an arena. The energy was very low and before Candace and you looked into it, I went to the TPUSA Auburn Tour event and it was completely packed, like a rock concert. That energy was gone. Once the conversation moved away from attacking Erica, JD was on his best behavior.”
Candace Owens shared Coleman’s post, writing, “Please don’t let us run a paid influencer campaign to make us believe that Erika’s life is at risk for having an empty seat. Just this once, please, please, let us go, Turning Point.”

Erica explains why she was absent from the event X posts, writing“I’m very much looking forward to tonight’s event at @universityofga with our Vice President @JDVance, but after everything our family has been through, I take my safety team’s advice very seriously. Thank you to our amazing Georgia chapter for your support. God bless you all!”
Candace slams Erica In response, she wrote: “Stop. This is exhausting. You dropped out due to poor ticket sales. TPFaith has had to quietly ‘reschedule’ the Pastors Summit and various other events for the same reason.”

Charlie, 31, was allegedly shot dead Taylor Robinson On September 10, 2025, attended a campus event in Utah. According to a statement from Utah Valley University (UVU), the shooting occurred around 12:20 pm local time during a student Q&A event at UVU in Orem.
