Encino Fire: Bush fire breaks out on Encino Boulevard in Los Angeles County, residents report smoke; maps, visuals

Wildfire breaks out in Encino, Los Angeles County, californiaTuesday afternoon. The fire, just off Encino Boulevard, is being dubbed the “Encino Fire” by Cal Fire. Evacuations have been ordered in nearby areas.

According to WatchDutythe fire has now spread to 5 acres and is spreading up the mountain. Structural defenses have been established and evacuation warnings may be issued; however, as of this writing, no evacuation has been ordered. A level 2 “set” warning has been issued, asking residents to remain vigilant.

Residents reported that smoke from the fire was moving into Encino and further into Los Angeles County as the fire continued to burn up the hills.
