“The impact of this loss is felt by all who knew Deon,” the GoFundMe page added. Deon’s mother reportedly collected the diploma for him. His name appears in full in the last of six columns listed in the graduate program brochure among the 263 graduates. “Last but not least, we would like to recognize one of our graduates: his mother, Precious Sherman, will accept admission on his behalf,” the president noted. according to MLLive.
A classmate remembers Deon, Tell WNEM “I just wish D could be with me and help me do this. He should see me do it and he should do it with me. I love my guy.”
