
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday inaugurated a host of state-of-the-art medical facilities at GB Pant Hospital along with Health Minister Pankaj Singh. New additions include a state-of-the-art 256-slice CT scanner, a modern cardiac catheterization laboratory and a dedicated neurological intensive care unit, all designed to significantly enhance diagnostic and critical care capabilities for cardiac and neurological patients. During the event, the Chief Minister stressed that these upgrades will provide life-saving technology to the common man and reduce waiting time for specialized treatment at one of the capital’s key government facilities.“This inauguration will be of immense benefit to every citizen of Delhi and even people of other states. We strive to elevate our healthcare system to world-class standards. The Government’s goal is to radically improve the treatment services provided by our hospitals and eliminate the gap between rich and poor so that no one has to rely on private hospitals for treatment. These machines will be able to detect cancer, heart disease, stroke, neurological disorders and angiography-related diseases at an early stage and will prove to be a life-saving device.…Today, as the government is completing a year, I feel that every day we are setting new benchmarks in the healthcare sector and we are working hard to maintain the trust of the common people in the government,” Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said.She also said that state-of-the-art CT scanners, new cath labs and neuro-intensive care units will benefit the people of Delhi as well as those of other states.“Delhi government’s Lok Nayak Hospital has inaugurated a state-of-the-art CT scanner, new cath lab and neuro-intensive care unit… This will bring huge benefits to every citizen of Delhi and even the people of other states.
