“Upon arrival, officers found an adult female deceased inside the residence,” police said, according to NewsNation. “Preliminary investigation indicates the victim died of violence.”

The victim’s husband, Reuben, was identified as a person of interest in the investigation.

Later that day, the California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert for Dalesa on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department. The alert said Dalesa and Reuben were last seen around 4 a.m. Sunday in the area of ​​Alsace Avenue and Ferndale Street in Los Angeles.
