A shooting was reported at College Street and Clinton Street. Multiple people were injured on the University of Iowa campus in Iowa City, according to social media posts.

Added AZ Intel An emergency alert from the Iowa Hawkeye said there was a “confirmed victim” in the shooting at College and Clinton streets. The exact number of victims remains unclear.
Another X post shared the video, writing: “Shooting at College and Clinton streets on the University of Iowa campus in Iowa City, multiple people injured, no word on the condition or number of victims.”

Last year, off-campus shootings in the area triggered a Hawk Alert.
“Iowa City police have made an arrest following an investigation into an off-campus incident on November 7. shooting This triggered an eagle alert. This appears to be an isolated incident and there is no known threat to the public. ” the University of Iowa website said at the time.
