Chirayu Rana hires lawyer representing Epstein accuser in lawsuit against JPMorgan executive Lorna Alhajdini

A former JPMorgan Chase banker accused of making explosive sexual harassment claims against a top executive has hired a prominent New York lawyer known for representing Jeffrey Epstein accusers.Chirayu Rana, an Indian-born former Wall Street analyst, is represented by Daniel Kaiser of Kaiser, Saurborn & Mair. Kaiser has previously represented multiple women in their claims against Epstein, a convicted sex offender and pedophile who died in 2019.Rana is suing JPMorgan executive director Lorna Hajdini, accusing her of drugging him with Viagra and subjecting him to multiple sexual assaults. Both the bank and Hajdini denied the claims. The lawsuit describes a series of disturbing accusations, including accusations that Al-Hajdini used drugs and coercion to control him. However, JPMorgan said an internal investigation found no evidence to support those claims. A spokesman said Rana refused to fully cooperate with investigators and provide key supporting details. Al-Hajdini also denied the accusations through her lawyer.According to the Wall Street Journal, JPMorgan Chase had previously offered Rana about $1 million to resolve the dispute, but he rejected it and instead sought more than $20 million.Rana’s attorney, Kaiser, told the New York Post: “A motion was filed today asking for an order allowing my client, John Doe, to proceed. These documents are accompanied by corroborating evidence of his claims. And there’s more.”Kaiser also said he expected the case to develop further as more evidence emerges. The dispute has also drawn attention because of Kaiser’s legal background, which includes his representation of Epstein accusers such as Jennifer Araoz, who is suing Epstein’s estate and associates after being accused of long-term abuse.JPMorgan Chase said its internal review, which included examining emails and work records, did not find the veracity of Rana’s claims. The bank also noted that Rana and Hajdini worked on different reporting lines, meaning she had no control over his compensation or wages.Colleagues had previously described Rana as “socially inept,” while Hajdini was regarded internally as a high-performing executive on the finance team.
