Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Rondale Moore has reportedly passed away at the age of 25. Wolves. The Floyd County coroner confirmed his death.
The coroner said an autopsy has been scheduled. The cause of death is currently under investigation.
New Albany Police Chief Todd Bailey tells WHAS11 Moore was found in the garage with what authorities believe was a gunshot wound.

Rondale Moore was born in New Albany, Indiana. He attended New Albany High School and won the state basketball championship in 2016.
He later transferred to Trinity High School in Louisville and helped lead the program to a state football championship in 2017.
Moore then played at Purdue University under then-head coach Jeff Brohm (now the head coach at the University of Louisville).
As a freshman in 2018, Moore had a stellar season, catching 114 passes for 1,258 yards and 12 touchdowns. He was named a first-team All-American.
Moore was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He later signed with Minnesota vikings 2025 season, but was placed on injured reserve before the start of the season.
After Moore’s death, Coach Brohm released a statement: “It was a great pleasure to coach Rondale Moore. He was an ultimate competitor who would never back down from any challenge. Rondale possessed a work ethic that was unmatched by anyone. He was a man who was A great teammate who stepped up to the plate no matter the situation. We loved his smile and his competitive edge and he always wanted to make everyone he came in contact with happy. We send all our thoughts and prayers to Rondale and his family!”
