Iran congratulates Levitt in unusual way
The Iranian Embassy in Armenia released a public message, first offering congratulations but also referring to the February 28 U.S. attack on a school in Minab, Iran.
The note read: “Children are innocent and cute. The 168 children you defended who were murdered by your boss at Minab School were children too. When you kiss your children, think of the mothers of those children.”
The attack came on the first day of U.S. and Israeli military action against Iran. It struck the Shajareh Tayyebeh primary school, located near the military target in Minab. Iranian reports and human rights groups said 150 to 175 people died, many of them children.
