Candace Owens shot back at false rumors that she died on June 20, 2026, but she did so in a way that quickly turned attention back to one of her most controversial claims.

In a post on X, Owens confirmed that she was still alive while sarcastically suggesting that people should blame Israel if she died. She then brought up the 2025 killing of Charlie Kirk, again questioning the official explanation for his death and reiterating her belief that pro-Israel figures played a larger role in the events leading up to it.

Owens wrote in the post, “Thank you all for the messages of concern, but I’m not dead yet. If I were, it would be completely appropriate for you to blame Israel. 🤷‍♀️ On a related note, Charlie Kirk is not worried about being killed by a transgender furry after spending a day arguing with Zionists about his abandonment of the pro-Israel cause. Hope this helps.”

This article was published after false claims circulated online: Owens The cause of death is suspicious. False obituaries emerged, with social media posts falsely claiming her family had confirmed her death. Owens later made it clear that the reports were completely fabricated.

Instead of simply denying the rumor, Owens used the opportunity to repeat the theory she’s been promoting for months. She said Kirk’s death was related to alleged differences between him and pro-Israel figures over his views on Israel and Israel’s war. Gaza.

Charlie Kirk Murder: What We Know

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was shot and killed on September 10, 2025, at an event at Utah Valley University. Authorities arrested 22-year-old Tyler James Robinson shortly after the shooting. Evidence in the case includes DNA found on the weapon and shell casings, text messages and a note Robinson allegedly wrote before the attack, according to investigators.

Prosecutors argued that Robinson targeted Kirk because of disagreements with him about his views on transgender issues. The case is still working its way through the court system, but law enforcement considers it resolved.

Owens has repeatedly denied that explanation. she argued Kirk’s Growing criticism of certain pro-Israel positions has made him a target. Her latest post continues that argument, suggesting Kirk is more worried about a conflict with “Zionists” than the motive investigators have suggested.

The comments were part of a broader controversy that has divided some conservatives, with critics accusing Owens of promoting conspiracy theories and supporters saying she is raising issues others refuse to raise.
