Candace Owens challenges Erica Kirk’s single mother narrative on ‘Charlie’s Bride’ series, questions her stepfather’s role
Candace Owens sheds new light on Erika Kirk. Candace Owens released the first episode of her new series Charlie’s Bride on Wednesday. In the episode, she questioned parts of Erica Kirk’s personal story, particularly the claim that she was raised by a single mother. Candace Owens opened the show by reading a viral X post from journalist Elizabeth Lane criticizing Erika Kirk. She then said she created the series after talking to Erica’s former classmates and ex-boyfriends.One main claim stands out. Candace Owens says Erika Kirk was raised by more than just her mother, Lori Frantzve. She said Erica’s father, Carl Kenneth Frantzoff, was present in her early life. Candace Owens also said that Lori Franzvi was “married four times,” adding, “We heard that Erica Franzvi was raised by a strong, independent, entrepreneurial single mother… but from what I understand, she has been married four times.” So far, Erika Kirk has not publicly responded to these claims.

She pointed to a New York Times report in which Erica Kirk said raising her children alone was “actually the least traumatic thing about her new reality” because she, too, was raised by a single mother.Candace Owens disagrees. She said Erica Kirk’s father, Carl Kenneth Frantzoff, “has always been in her life.” She even played old clips of Erica talking to Charlie Kirk. In that video, Erica said: “My dad was a stay-at-home dad for a few years, and I have to say, it was really sweet and special. I was four years old.”Candace Owens believes this shows that her father was active in her early childhood. She also claimed that Erica’s parents separated when Erica was ten, but her father remained involved when she was a teenager.Then Candace Owens suggested another name, Larry Quinta. She said Erica Kirk also lived with her stepfather while growing up. According to Candace Owens, classmates confirmed that Larry Quinta and Lori Franzwei have been together since Erica was in elementary school. She showed what she said was a picture from Erica’s high school yearbook.“So why is there this little public misinformation?” Candace Owens said, adding that there were “a lot of little issues” with Erika Kirk’s story and promising to share more in future episodes.Candace Owens has faced backlash online since the trailer and first episode were released.
