Videos, photos, 911 calls and more released by Judge John Roach on June 20 sparked a false narrative on social media suggesting he was innocent, even though a jury reviewed all the evidence and found Anthony guilty. Can Carmelo Anthony be released?

Anthony has now been transferred to a Texas prison to begin serving his sentence. On June 10, he was transferred to the Wallace Pack Unit near Houston, Texas.

According to court records, Anthony filed a notice of appeal after his conviction.
