boAt Aavante Prime X Soundbar: Specs and Features

boAt Aavante Prime X uses a 7.1.4 channel setup and supports Dolby Atmos. It includes upward-firing drivers that help create a height effect that adds a sense of depth to the audio. A wireless subwoofer is also part of the system, handling low-frequency output.

One of the main changes with this model is the way the rear speakers are designed. The satellite speakers can be detached from the main soundbar and placed separately. They connect wirelessly and run on a built-in 4,500mAh battery. This allows users to position them based on room layout rather than cable length.

According to the company, the rear speakers can run for up to 12 hours when using Dolby Atmos over HDMI. With standard playback, usage time is approximately seven hours. This setup doesn’t require long cords, but does require the user to charge the speaker when needed. For people who live in smaller homes or rent space, this trade-off may still work in their favor.

In addition, the system provides a peak output of 700W. It includes an 8-inch subwoofer as well as multiple 2.25-inch drivers to manage different sound ranges. Audio tuning focuses on powerful bass and punch. This type of sound profile is ideal for sports broadcasts, movies with action sequences, and gaming sessions where the audio presence adds to the experience.

The system’s goal isn’t studio-level accuracy, but rather making everyday content sound more immersive than standard TV speakers. It’s designed to fill an entire room and create a wider soundstage without the need for additional equipment.

boAt Aavante Prime X Soundbar: Connection options

boAt Aavante Prime X supports Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless streaming. It also includes HDMI eARC, optical input, USB and 3.5mm audio jacks. These options allow it to connect with most TVs and devices without compatibility issues.
